Day 1 |
Xian (L) Then, you will visit the ancient Xian City Wall. It is not only one of the oldest and best preserved city wall in China, but also one of the largest ancient military defense systems in the world. You can choose to either walk or bike along the walls, especially when the weather is nice, allowing you to enjoy Xian from a different perspective. Then you will visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, where no two soldiers are alike, from the kneeling archer, to the standing archer, a cavalryman and a horse, a mid-ranking officer and a general. Then visit the Great Mosque, one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China, worth seeing for its mixed architecture, both traditional Chinese and Muslim styles. In the evening, visit the Beiyuan Men Islamic Street, lined with Islamic shops, restaurants and street vendors. This is a great place to stroll in, enjoy an authentic meal, shop and get a taste of traditional Muslim culture. |
Day 2 | Xian (B/L) Huashan (Mount Hua) one day adventure tour, one of the five sacred mountains of China. That was known as a center for the practice of traditional Chinese martial arts. Huashan is some 120 kilometers east of Xian City. This mountain is celebrated for its majestic breath-taking crags, steep paths, beautiful scenery and it is said to be the most precipitous mountain in the world. Day 3 | Xian (B/L) Visit the Qianling Mausoleum of the Tang Dynasty. Built by 684, the tombs of the mausoleum complex house the remains of various members of the royal Li family. It is the best preserved of all eighteen Tang Mausoleums. Then visit the Famen Temple, famous for housing the Buddhist relics of Sakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism. After that, transfer to the airport for your departure. |
