Guilin is regarded in China as the countries most picturesque city. Two crystal-clear rivers meander through the city, which is encircled by mountains with unusual & bizarre rock formations and caves.
| Day 1 | Beijing Your local guide will pick you up at the airport upon your arrival in Beijing and take you to your hotel. |
| Day 2 | Beijing (B/L) Visit Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest public square. You’ll tour the grounds and discover the halls and monuments. From there, you will walk to the Forbidden City (also is the Palace Museum), the Chinese imperial palace for 500 years. In the afternoon, visit the Summer Palace, surrounded by one of Beijing’s finest and best-preserved parks. You’ll explore the grounds, the temples and the world’s longest art gallery. Transfer to the hotel after the tour. |
| Day 3 | Beijing (B/L) In the morning, you will visit the Olympic stadiums (“Bird’s nest” and “Water cube”) from outside take some photo. Tour guide show you to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. |
| Day 4 | Beijing – Xian (B/L) In the morning you will be transferred to the Hutong area to tour by Rickshaw. The Hutongs are a located behind the Forbidden City in central Beijing containing many narrow streets and alleys with traditional courtyard homes. Then go to Beijing airport where you fly to Xian. On arrival you will be met by your guide and go to your hotel. |
| Day 5 | Xian (B/L) Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum in the morning, where no two soldiers are alike, from the kneeling archer, to the standing archer, a cavalryman and a horse, a mid-ranking officer and a general. After lunch, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China, worth seeing for its mixed architecture, both traditional Chinese and Muslim styles. |
| Day 6 | Xian – Guilin (B/L) In the morning, visit the Shanxi History Museum. Then visit the Xian City Wall and take a bicycle ride along the Wall. Then transfer to the airport where you fly to Guilin. On arrival you will be met by your guide and go to your hotel. |
| Day 7 | Guilin (B/L) In the morning, go to Longsheng about 2 hours’ drive. Walk on the spectacular Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces, which have been carved from the mountains over hundreds of years. After lunch, experience a local life at minority area by visiting minority villages. Go back to Guilin and transfer to your hotel after the tour. |
| Day 8: | Guilin – Yangshuo (B/L) You will cruise the breathtaking Li River that meanders through valleys, bamboo groves and mysterious rock formations, passing along some of Southern China´s most beautiful scenery. At the end of the cruise, you will reach the famous local town called Yangshuo, so well-known in China that it even enjoys more fame than the city of Guilin. Remainder of day at leisure to explore the town. |
| Day 9 | Yangshuo – Guilin –Shanghai (B/L) Experience a countryside cycling in Yangshuo. After lunch, transferred to the Guilin airport and take a flight to Shanghai. |
| Day 10 | Shanghai (B/L) Visit the Oriental Pearl Tower, the world’s third tallest TV and radio tower (after Toronto and Moscow). Then head to Shanghai Old Alleys to experience the real life of the Shanghainese. After that, tour the Yuyuan Garden, a classical, peaceful and comfortable garden in the heart of bustling Shanghai. Later tour the Bund, the symbol of Shanghai. |
| Day 11 | Shanghai (B) Transfer to the airport for your departure. |
