Buddha was born in Nepal. Buddhism is spreading whole over the world and which is sources from Nepal and India. Lord Buddha was born at Lumbini which is located at southern part of Nepal near the border of India. As far as, Kathmandu is concern there are many holy sites of Buddhist pilgrim such as Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhu (monkey temple), Namo Buddha, pharping and kopan Monastery.

Namo Buddha and Boudhanath stupa Namo Buddha is one of pilgrim of Shakyamuni Buddha or traditional Buddha’s former incarnations. Namo Buddha is a located at south-east of Kathmandu, which is devoted to the Buddha and he offered his own flesh to a tigress with starving cubs. The temple has being built on his remains of born and hair. Pilgrim is placed on the beautiful hill and formerly infested by tigers. A huge monastery has now been build there. Boudhanath Stupa in the Kathmandu valley is a vast dome-shaped monument representing the mind of the Buddha and is the primary pilgrimage destination for Tantric Buddhists of the Himalayas and a major draw for Tibetan s from all over the planet. |

Pharping and Syambhunath Stupa After breakfast, will visit to Pharping where there is Guru Rinpoche’s cave and his residence with his hand print on the cave. There are many Buddhist honesty can see so, many Buddhist pilgrimage visiting there every day. Afternoon visit Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites of Buddhism. Seated atop a hill, the old steep path that leads upto the stupa ends at a huge golden vajra, a diamond shaped weapon that holds much symbolic importance in Buddhist philosophy. A wide panorama of the Kathmandu valley can be seen from the stupa premises which, makes for a beautiful sunset Day4: Kopen Monastery and thimal Just north of the ancient Buddhist town of Boudhanath is the Kopan hill, which rises up out of the terraced fields of the Kathmandu balley and is visible for miles. Dominated by a magnificent bodhi tree, it was once the home of the astrologer to the king of Nepal. This same hill is now the home of Kopan Monastery. A Monastery in the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism under the guidance of lama Zopa Rinpoche. The air is clean and the view across the valley is magical. There will have a daily dharma talk at 10.30am (Mo-Fri) and stay lunch in the Kopan café. After that, visit to Thimal and do shopping at there. Day 5 Trip and back to Airport |
